• Hop on a direct bus from Kuala Lumpur to Larkin Sentral with a journey time of approximately 4 hours and 30 minutes. One-way fare ranges from RM 40 to RM 50. Upon arrival at Larkin Sentral, you can easily reach JB Sentral by taking the T13 bus for just RM 1.80.

Desaru Public Beach
The Desaru Public Beach is an ideal sun-soaked getaway destination, offering a variety of activities within a tranquil setting that appeals to guests seeking both relaxation and adventure. One of the activities that visitors may be interested in is having a picnic on the beach while waiting to see the sunset in the evening – a perfect way to end any day.
If you prefer more challenging activities, Dash Outdoor offers a variety of water sports such as jet-skiing, wakeboarding, kayaking, paddle boarding as well as towing rides like the banana boat, big marble or the XO Xtreme.
There is also an outdoor cafe run by Dash Outdoor, where you can enjoy light snacks paired with a fresh coconut drink. Fret not about where to park your vehicle because Dash Outdoor operates a large parking facility charging only RM 10 per car, RM 6 per motorcycle and RM 4 per bus upon entry (from 8:00AM to 6:00PM) after which it closes. Other amenities include a restroom and a surau (a designated Muslim prayer room).

• It is a 4 hours and 18 minute drive (391 kilometres) from Kuala Lumpur to Desaru Beach via Lebuhraya Utara-Selatan/E2. It is worth noting that Desaru lacks public transportation, so renting a car is highly recommended for a hassle-free road trip. Alternatively, you may also tour the town via taxi.
• It is a 1 hour and 9 minute drive (79.7 kilometres) from JB Sentral to Desaru Beach via Lebuhraya Senai-Desaru/E22.
Desaru Ostrich Farm
Discover the unique charms of Desaru Ostrich Farm, the only one of its kind in Johor, which is open every day from 10:00AM to 6:00PM. This enormous farm is one of Malaysia's largest, currently housing over 100 ostriches. You can get up close with these gorgeous birds here, an experience which is both intriguing and educational. Feed them maize and vegetables for RM 5, while engaging in a variety of fascinating activities such as sampling meals prepared using ostrich meat or eggs, riding an ostrich or taking photos with these wonderful creatures. Desaru Ostrich Farm promises a fun-filled day with lasting memories. Tickets are reasonably priced at just RM 25 for adults and RM 20 for children (please be informed that prices are subject to change), whilst offering a good choice of souvenirs alongside adventurous food options including ostrich satay and rendang chunks.

These tours feature instructional presentations on how various fruits are cultivated, picked and processed, making for an interesting and pleasurable experience. Visitors can participate in interactive fruit-picking experiences, harvesting fruits directly from the trees.
Fresh fruit-tasting sessions allow customers to experience a diverse selection of seasonal products. The farm's on-site shop also sells fresh fruits, juices, jams and other items. Teluk Sengat Crocodile World
Teluk Sengat Crocodile Farm is located in the village of Teluk Sengat, Kota Tinggi, Johor, and is Peninsular Malaysia's largest crocodile farm, encompassing 10 acres in total. Established in 1950 for crocodile conservation and breeding, the farm opened to the public in 1997 and has since become a famous tourist destination.
The farm is home to around 1,000 saltwater crocodiles of varying sizes and ages, including some that are over 100 years old. Visitors can explore the farm's eight breeding ponds, 81 cement ponds, dams and a central lake, which are all designed to provide a natural home for the crocodiles. The farm also provides educational experiences, with guests learning intriguing facts about crocodiles and following safety procedures along the way.

Guests may also interact with, and photograph newborn crocodiles as well as adult crocodiles being fed fresh chicken. The crocodiles are housed according to their ages, allowing visitors to view the journey from baby hatchlings to fully grown adults, with males reaching up to 20 feet long and weighing 1,000 kilograms. Needless to say, a visit to the Teluk Sengat Crocodile Farm provides a truly unique and educational experience, making it a great place for those interested in learning more about these fascinating creatures.
