Yougoya is a community for sharing real travel experiences and planning trips together. We want it to inspire travel and be worth trusting — authentic experiences and mutual respect are its foundation. Please treat every user as a real person.
2. Please Do
· share authentic experiences, photos and advice; · respect different views, cultures and ways of life; · clearly label places and sources so others can rely on them; · use the report feature to help us maintain the community when you see problematic content; · protect your own and others' privacy and safety.
3. What’s Not Allowed
Illegal & safety-harming: content that breaks the law; violence, terrorism or extremism; encouraging or glorifying self-harm, suicide or dangerous acts. Hate & harassment: hate speech or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability and the like; harassment, personal attacks, threats or doxxing directed at individuals. Sexual content & child protection: pornographic or sexually explicit content; any content that endangers minors — we have zero tolerance for the sexualization of minors and will act on and report it as required by law. Falsehoods & deception: fabricated experiences, false place information, and misleading health / safety / visa advice. Spam & fake engagement: spam advertising, bulk repetitive content, and fake engagement such as inflating likes / followers / comments. Infringement & impersonation: content that infringes others' intellectual property or privacy; impersonating a person, organization or official account. Fraud & harmful conduct: fraud, phishing, distributing malware, or inducing others into financial loss.
4. Travel-Specific Notes
· provide accurate place information and do not mislead others' travel decisions; · respect local laws, customs, culture and the natural environment; · do not glamorize or encourage travel that is illegal, ecologically destructive or physically dangerous (such as illegal trespassing, damaging heritage sites, or dangerous stunts for photos); · for trips involving safety risks, remind readers to assess for themselves and take responsibility for their own safety.
5. How We Enforce
When content or behavior violates these guidelines, we may, depending on severity: remove or downrank content, issue a warning, restrict certain features, or ban or delete the account. For serious violations (such as endangering minors or violent threats), we may act without prior warning and, where necessary, report to the competent authorities as required by law.
6. Reporting
You can report violating content or users from the "···" menu on a note, comment or user profile. We review reports and take appropriate action. Please report honestly; abusing the report feature may itself be restricted.
7. Appeals
If you believe we handled your content or account incorrectly, you can appeal via the contact below. We will re-review and reply with the outcome.
